About Us

The team behind
every inspection.

Real people, local roots, and an approach built around clarity instead of fear.

Our Approach

Thorough doesn't have to mean terrifying.

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. The inspection should make that decision easier — not harder.

Every home has issues, even brand-new ones. The job of a good inspector isn't to scare you. It's to help you understand what's serious, what's routine, and what's just normal wear and tear. By the end of the inspection, you should feel more confident in your decision, not less. Whether you buy the house or walk away, the path forward should be clear.

Calm, not alarmist

Every finding gets context. We tell you what it means, not just what it is — so you can make decisions without panic.

Confident, not arrogant

We know our craft, and we explain it without talking down to you. Questions are welcome at every step.

Honest, not aggressive

No upselling, no scare tactics, no "you'd be crazy not to fix this." Just facts, photos, and clear recommendations.

Founder & Lead Inspector

"Most people walk into a home inspection nervous. My job is to make sure you walk out clear-headed."

That's the whole point. A good inspection isn't a list of problems — it's a conversation that helps you understand what you're buying. So I take the time. I explain everything in plain English. I tell you what matters, what doesn't, and what's just normal for a house this age in this neighborhood. You should leave knowing more than when you started — and feeling better about your decision, whatever that decision turns out to be.

I live in Poway with my wife Sam, our three daughters — Layla, Audrey, and Gemma — and our dog Roo. When I'm not on an inspection, I'm probably surfing, hiking with the kids, or truck camping somewhere off the grid. San Diego has been home my whole life. I bring that local knowledge — the quirks of every neighborhood, the common issues by era and zip code — to every inspection I do.

Inspector

Kyle

Inspector

"Kyle brings the same standard to every inspection: do the work thoroughly, explain it clearly, and treat the client like a partner — not a transaction."

He's patient with first-time buyers, direct with experienced ones, and never lets a finding go unexplained. Like the rest of the team, he treats every inspection like it's the most important purchase of someone's life — because for most of our clients, it is.
